El Abuelito – le grand-p\u00e8re est un hommage \u00e0 mon bandon\u00e9on. Je l’ai achet\u00e9e \u00e0 Buenos Aires en janvier 2001 lorsque l’Argentine a \u00e9t\u00e9 frapp\u00e9e par une autre crise financi\u00e8re majeure, la soi-disant Corralito. \u00c0 l’\u00e9poque, de nombreuses personnes devaient vendre leurs objets de valeur pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s pour joindre les deux bouts.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lorsque j’ai essay\u00e9 le tr\u00e8s bel instrument, son propri\u00e9taire, Claudio, s’est agit\u00e9 autour de moi et m’a regard\u00e9 de tous les c\u00f4t\u00e9s. Autour d’un mat\u00e9, il m’a ensuite expliqu\u00e9 pourquoi ce bandon\u00e9on \u00e9tait si important pour lui : son grand-p\u00e8re l’avait apport\u00e9 en Argentine depuis son Espagne natale. Il l’a bricol\u00e9 tous les jours pour faire de petites r\u00e9parations, am\u00e9liorer le son, ou tout simplement la ch\u00e9rir. Claudio n’aurait jamais pu imaginer vendre cet h\u00e9ritage que son grand-p\u00e8re aimait tant. Mais il a \u00e9t\u00e9 forc\u00e9 et voulait le vendre \u00e0 quelqu’un qui jouerait et respecterait le bandon\u00e9on et ne le verrait pas seulement comme un investissement.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Quelques jours plus tard, quand je suis revenu le chercher, Claudio m’a dit avec insistance : \u00ab\u00a0N’oublie jamais que tu emm\u00e8nes une partie de ma famille avec toi !\u00a0\u00bb Et je lui ai promis que \u00ab\u00a0El Abuelito\u00a0\u00bb ferait maintenant aussi partie de ma famille et que je respecterais l’instrument comme le faisait son grand-p\u00e8re.
