The new program of the international “Duo La Luna” is entitled “Nostalghia”. The program tells the special and true story of a European migrant “El abuelito” who set foot in Buenos Aires in the early 20th century in search of a new life.

The adventure of this migrant comes to life in a special way. In addition, the special music that depicts the drama, passion and adventure plays a major role. A show about hope and expectation, about emotion, going on the road and coming home. The personal story becomes tangible and touches people.

Immerse yourself in the intense sounds and step into another world that is getting closer than you thought possible.

The “Nostalghia” program is looking forward to international interest and will be heard in France, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain in the coming year. The CD of the show will be released in the summer of 2020.

“Duo La Luna” consists of Helena Rüegg – Bandoneon and Rob Bangert – guitar. These two musicians play traditional and modern tangos, sometimes melancholic and dreamy, sometimes cheerful and passionate. In addition to their education at the various Conservatories, Helena and Rob have studied in Buenos Aires, capital of the tango. Most of the compositions that the duo plays are written especially for them by well known composers from Buenos Aires.
